Map and table showing the Maryland state legislative districts that, from 2001-2011, gave the people who lived near large prisons undue influence over the political process.  Until Maryland ended prison gerrymandering in 2010, any four residents of House of Delegates District 2B were given much political clout as five people in a district without a large prison. Every vote cast outside of District 2B was diluted.

Most incarcerated people in Maryland are from 
Baltimore City, but serve time elsewhere in the state.
